The Chinese Online Video market is a USD$15 billion marketin advertising and subscription revenue at the end of 2019, scoring as the world second largest online video market after United States.


According to the latest China Online Video Market share, showing iQiyi, Tencent, Youku, Mango, Station B, Shouhu as top 5 sources. It is interesting to see that Tencent Video (Wechat company) as No. 2, its volume is double of one time dominant force, Youku. 

Short Video is a fast growing segment in China, with Tik Tok leading the market. 
TikTok is known as Douyin in China, with its daily active users (DAUs) exceeding 400 million in Jan 2020.  Bilibili is another video platform that we should pay attention as it consist of large young users and highly engaged. 

Knowing the market players will allow Tourism players to position its video marketing in the right platform, instead of just uploading the video.
